I have been in church for a long time. All of my life, honestly. I grew up surrounded by prayer, bible study, Friday night service, choir rehearsal, youth services, Saturday night service, Sunday School, Sunday Morning Service, Sunday Afternoon service, Church Outings, Church Picnics... I could go on. While I am grateful for my upbringing in the church because I have experienced and learned so much over the years, I now often ponder what was missing? What am I lacking? What was perhaps the church lacking?
